iQoo Z9x 5G was launched in India on Thursday as the company's latest budget 5G smartphone in the country. The handset is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. It runs on Android 14 and is equipped with 128GB of inbuilt storage. The iQoo Z9x 5G features a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It packs a 6,000mAh battery that can be charged at 44W. The latest handset from iQoo has a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port.

Under the hood of the device is a large 6,000mAh battery which also gets 44W FlashCharge support. iQOO claims this provides the phone with up to 50 per cent juice in 37 minutes.

The iQOO Z9x 5G is powered by a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, with a 2.2 GHz clock speed. The phone is available in 4, 6, and 8GB RAM variants, all with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.

The iQOO Z9x 5G gets a 6.72-inch LCD display with a full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,000 nits of peak brightness. For audio, there are also dual stereo speakers. What’s cool is, besides being as thin as only 7.9mm, the phone also gets a segment-first IP64 water and dust resistance rating, meaning it should handle the occasional spills and splashes with ease

Priced competitively, the iQOO Z9x 5G comes in three enticing color variants – Storm Grey and Tornado Green, catering to diverse style preferences.

The 4GB RAM with 128GB ROM variant is priced at ₹12,999, the 6GB RAM with 128GB ROM variant will cost ₹14,999. While the 8GB RAM with 128GB ROM device is priced at ₹15,999. Scheduled for release on May 21, eager consumers can purchase the device via Amazon and the iQOO India eStore.
